Susan has been involved in fitness most of her life-running, cycling, hiking, cross country skiing, and weight lifting are part of her active life. For over 35 years she has taught a variety of aerobic and strength classes. At age 18 she started teaching aerobics and personal training to support her way through college. While raising a family she continued teaching aerobics. Through the years Susan has had her own struggles with weight issues which helps her understand the trials of weight loss and maintenance. In 2019 she decided to recertify as a personal trainer to encourage people in an active and healthy life. Ultimately, helping people reach their fitness goals is what fuels her passion.

Certifications: Susan is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer, She is Reebok Spin, and CPR/First aid certified.

Focus: Fitness, Functional training, Sport Specific Training, Women’s Health, and weight loss.

Shanna Peterson

Shanna has had a passion for fitness and physical activity her entire life, ranging from school sports, hiking and bow hunting, snowboarding, marathons, and most recently, bodybuilding. While not at the gym helping clients or working out herself, Shanna is a mom, wife and is an Addiction Counselor. Shanna’s body image and weight have been a huge obstacle that she has had to overcome in the past, through education, patience and working with trained professionals. Ultimately, Shanna wants to be the trained professional to help people learn to love their body while allowing for improvements to be made. Shanna is an International Sports Sciences Association Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and CPR/First Aid Certified as well.

Michele is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and strength coach with 14 years of hands-on experience in strength training, bodybuilding, and power-lifting. A seasoned competitor in both bodybuilding and power-lifting, Michele has worked in multiple gyms across several states, training diverse clients from beginners to competitive athletes. Her programs are built on proven strength principles and a deep focus on technique, progression, and the mind–muscle connection.

Michele’s coaching philosophy centers on individualized programming and sustainable lifestyle change. She specializes in body re-composition, helping clients increase strength and muscle while reducing body fat and emphasizing education so clients understand not only what to do, but why it works. Michele is known for her patient, motivational coaching style that helps clients rebuild confidence and fall back in love with their bodies.

Outside of fitness, Michele is a self-employed business owner who is deeply involved in her community. She volunteers regularly and serves at her church’s food pantry. An outdoor enthusiast, Michele spends her free time hiking, kayaking, camping, hunting, fishing, and off-roading in her Jeep with her partner Kevin, her two step-children, and their dogs, Bear and Ruby.
